Core Beliefs
The Bible

We believe that the entire Bible, (Tanakh and Brit Chadasha) is G-d-inspired and, is the authority in all matters pertaining to a Believer’s faith and practice. 2Tim. 3:16 – 17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

G-d

We believe that the Shema – “Hear O Israel, the Lord our G-d, the Lord is one” (Deut. 6:4) – teaches that G-d exists in a Unity of three Persons (called the Trinity) and is revealed to us as “Echad” (a composite Oneness).

The fluidity of G-d as Echad is manifested to us all through time as the Father (YHVH), Son (Yeshua HaMashiach), and the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) Deut. 6:4; Zech. 14:9; Matt. 28:19; John 5:17, 14:16-17, 15:26; Eph. 2:18}.

G-d is Echad, as so declared: a United One, a Composite Unity, and is Perfect, Infinite and Eternal.

Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ)

We believe that Yeshua HaMashiach is externally pre-existent as G-d, Yeshua the Messiah, humbled himself and assumed man’s nature by being born of a Virgin Mary thus uniting the Divine and Human Nature {Isa. 9:6; Matt. 1:18-25; John 1:14; 1 Tim. 3:16; Heb. 2:14}.

In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with G-d in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him, nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome[a] it. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:1-5 & 14 NKJV

Holy Spirit (Ruach Hakodesh)

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity and that He empowers us for life and service. We believe in the present-day operation of the nine supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit, as recorded in 1 Cor. 12:4-11 There are [d]diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works [e]all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: 8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by [f]the same Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

We also believe in the ministry gifts of Christ, as recorded in Eph. 4:11-13 “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the [e]edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ”

Man

We believe that man was created righteous in the image of G-d but has alienated himself from G-d due to the fall of man in the Garden of Eden and so needs reconciliation.

Salvation

We believe a person can receive eternal life through faith in Yeshua the Messiah’s Death on our behalf and His Resurrection on the 3rd day; as written by the apostle John 1:29-32 The next day John saw Jesus (Yeshua) coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” New King James Version (NKJV)

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace, you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Resurrection and Judgment

We believe in the resurrection of both the Redeemed and the Lost, either living or dead: the former to everlasting life and the latter to eternal separation from G-d.

John 5:24-30 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself and has given Him authority to execute judgment also because He is the Son of Man. Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me”

Congregation

We believe that the New Covenant Body of Believers is the Body & Bride of Yeshua the Messiah. This body is composed of both Jews and Gentiles who have received into their hearts, Yeshua the Promised Redeemer & Messiah as their Savior, and Lord. Then meets together on a regular basis to fellowship and worship the G-d of Israel.

For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit, we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many. 1 Corinthians 12:12-14

“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be put to shame.”  For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:9-13

Israel

We believe in G-d’s plan for the nation of Israel, and we believe in the physical and spiritual restoration of Israel, as taught in the Scriptures. The greatest miracle of our day has been the re-establishment, or rebirth, of the State of Israel, according to prophecy. The prophet Zechariah indicated the Jewish people would turn to God, through the Messiah, only after returning to Israel (Zech.12:10; 13:1). Likewise, the prophet Ezekiel stated God’s promise, “For I will take you from the nations, gather you from all the lands and bring you into your own land” (Ezek. 36:24). The passage continues, “Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean…. Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh” (Ezek. 36:25–26). Note that the spiritual regeneration of Israel follows the restoration of the Jewish people to the Land. Thus regathered, Israel will, as a nation, turn in faith toward the promised Messiah, Yeshua.
